2nd gen DIN question
I'm wondering, whether the space underneath the stock stereo location in 2nd gens is another full-size DIN slot?
I sure would like to install a SIRIUS starmate in one of those DIN mounts under the stereo head.
OR- would the starbase be a better fit
Wondering whether anyone has done this, and whether it is feasable.

Yes it is. Look in my build-up thread to see the switch plate I made to fill that space below my Sony Headunit.
My best advice to you would be to get a Sat. radio ready headunit and save that space for switches, a CB or inclinometer. I wish I had got a sat. ready HU, so now that I didn't I am using a Sirius SV1 (very tiny) mounted by the shifters. I still need to install it though.
