2nd emissions attempt...failed!!!!!!

hey guys..

after new 02's, plugs, wires, air filter, and a solid running truck.. I failed emissions again this morning... I triple checked vaccuum leaks as well..

heres the deal... legal limit for CO is 1.29-ish... I WAS AT 7.89!!!! Literally everything else is new on the truck, even a rebuild 8k miles ago...

I have a new cat converter in the garage.. Guess I should throw that on too?? WOuld the cat take it from 7.89 to 1.29?

thanks in advance
Neal

EGR shouldn't cause high HC or CO. A new converter might bring it down to spec.
