2nd and 3rd gen extra cabs: common camper shells?

I know there have been numerous posts on the issue of the different campershells and such, but after looking through quite a few, I still couldn't find the answer to this question:

Do 85-88 (2nd gen) x-cab camper shells have the same frontside slant that 89-95 (3rd gen) x-cabs do? Has the rear cab angle been constant, or did that change with the 89 redesign of the x-cab?
