2L or 2LT?
Hi there,
I have a 1986 2LT 4x4 pickup, piston went on it ages ago and its been sitting ever since, the original owner took the head apart and now the pieces are are dissembled in the back of the truck. Half the engine block is still in there. I am looking for some direction, should i rebuild and fix this engine or swap it out for a 2l engine that i have that is in tact. I am not sure about the condition of the 2L but from the previous owners knowledge his buddy had salvaged it out of a truck that had rusted away, so my guess is that it did.
In theory I was hoping that if i work on the 2L i would be able to swap over the turbo??
Any info and guidance is much appreciated ! thanks
