22rte issues with performance`
I just finished hours of tracing down this problem with the injectors not pulsing. Ended up being the coil/ignitor was not sending a signal to the ecu. We got the ignitor corrected and have pulse. Ran ok for a day... then it developed a super high idle, which was a mis-adjusted throttle cable. No biggie! All of the sudden it misfires, have to feather the throttle for any rpm to build. I have a vacuum gauge at my dash, I have to keep near zero for any power at aLL. When i drive, I cannot use boost, I can hear the turbo winding, but if I allow psi it will backfire. Timing is set correct @ 5* btdc. Takes many tries to start now..warm or cold..does not matter. Cold start injector plugged in or not..does not matter. Only code #1 from the ecu after reset and run for a minute. I have had a rough run with this Yota lately. Right before the holidays makes this one just too much to deal with, but here I am, again! Anybody need a new project? I am fed up with this one!! Christmas special $1000. It does run!!
