hey norcalsvx, Did the oversize valved help out in power at all? Is it worth it?

 

i did a bunch of stuff at once so i could'nt really tell but if i were to do it again i woudl get the head ported when i had it off

 

What all did you do to your motor?

 

i bought it with a bad timing chain
engbldr street rv head w/261
timing chain kit w/ steel rail and new timing cover
gasket kit
LCE oil pump, water pump
new fuel filter
LCE header to flowmaster
i did these all at the same time and it ran a lot better than when i first got it

 

Has anyone had a head that was ported, polished, oversize valves and shaved a little, with a cam? How does that do?

 

i wish i would of had them port it when i had it out, i'm sure it would help out
