22RE VS V6 differentials

Ok guy's rush question , i need to know the difference in ratio between the 4x4 v6 differentials ratio and the 22RE differential ratios.

1991-1994 erra

There is a V6 truck for sale near my place for really cheap , i just wanna make sure the V6 differential are geared longer than the 22re.

Simply tell me , on OEM size tires , does the V6 engine run slower than the 22re at the same mph?

Thanks !

Best answer maybe!

Depends what gears are in both vehicles

This is off the top of my head so might be off.

Autos and Manuals had different ratios

Being Toyota`s no way without looking just what gears are in the vehicle

Just what are you looking to do??

I have a 1991 w56 with a vw tdi engine attached to it , the whole mechanic is in a 4x4 4runner with 22re differentials.

A 4w4 V6 truck just poped on an ad near my place , i want a pickup more than a 4runner , and if the gearing is taller on the v6 , it's a win for me , i currently cruise at 3k rpm at 60mph ( remember it's a diesel engine now )

What gear ratio is in your vehicle now??

You just need to go lower numerically

If you have 4.10`s now maybe 3.90`s would drop it to wear you want

There is most likely a gear ratio /Tire size chart floating around some place.

I don't know my gear ratio , all i know is that i have original 22re stock differential.

All i wanna know is what the 22re diff ratio is and what the V6 diff ratio is.

I'm pretty sure toyota used the same ratio for v6 all the way from at least 1991-to 1995 , same for the 22re...

I think i'll jack the rear end and turn the shaft by hand and do the maths , no one seems to know the answer...
