22re squeels only when driving, help!

okay so its never squeeled at an idle or at start- up. then when i start motorin down the road it starts squeeling. it starts as a small low pitch squeel then sometimes gets louder and changes to a higher pitch. you can push in the clutch, hold higher rpms ect and it seems to do nothing. when you accelerate to a higher speed the squeel goes quicker with the speed of the tires other than the rpms. the brakes are good, its not the trans. the noise is coming from the pully/belt system. thanks for lookin hopefuly someone can help cause noise is drivin me crazy!! thank you

To verify this is an engine noise or a drivetrain noise?

If its an "engine" noise then the first stop is to check belts and pulleys...
-Loose drive belts(Should be no more than a half inch to a quarter inch deflection in the belt)
-Cracked/Damaged drive belts
-Fluid soaked/contaminated drive belts
-Power steering idler pulley bearing worn out(Feel the pulley for "roughness" in the bearing.
-Check other pulleys for noise and or "rough feel"

Does the noise stop when you turn the wheel hard to one side or the other? Loading the powersteering pump and therefore checking that belt?

Does the noise change or stop when turn the A/C on? Loading the Air conditioning compressor and therefore checking that belt?

Does the noise change while adding electrical loads? Lights, Radio, Fan, ect. Putting a load on the alternator and therefore checking that belt?

On a hill somewhere or back road, put in clutch or netural and turn engine off while driving. That will tell you if it is motor or drivetrain real quick.

I would rule out the engine since rpm change does not effect the noise.
I would assume it would be something along the lines of tires/bearings/brakes.... since the sound is proportional to your speed.

my vote is wheel bearings. I had some burn up and they squealed at speed.
