22RE oil sending unit pipe plug

Hi all,

I recently installed a rebuilt short block 22RE in my '92 pickup and realized it is missing the plug for the "Celica" or forward most oil sending unit mounting spot (sort of hidden by the motor mount). I went to the dealer and several hardware stores but came up empty. It appears it should be a 10mm pipe plug. Does anyone have an idea where I can find one? Thanks!

Thanks very much for the info guys. Any idea where I can find that size or should I plan on hitting the junkyard? Thanks!

You could re-tap a standard plug with a metric tap to get you by until you find the right one. A really good hardware store or parts store should have something that fits correctly.
