22RE Missing / Sputtering at Idle!
Well I just bought another truck and I know ya'll are going to want to see pictures but first I need some help.
My truck seems to be running on 3 cylinders but only at Idle while I'm sitting still it'll rock like it has a trick cam in it. But if I give it a little gas at idle it runs very smooth. It has even a few times shut off on me but it doesn't happen often.
While I'm driving the engine runs very smoothly on all 4 cylinders and it is only having trouble while it idles. I replaced the spark plug wires. Anyone had this problem in the past or know what is causing my truck to do this? Thanks Everyone!

maybe a vacuum leak somewhere? you could try disconnecting spark plugs wire one at a time to see if its a spark issue, if not then do the same to the injectors and disconnect them one by one

I replaced the Spark Plug Wires and Spark Plugs and it still seems to be doing it. Thats what I thought it was originally. I wonder if it has something to do with the timing. But I'm not sure because when the engine is cold and is warming up at higher RPMs it never misses even if at idle.

Yea I need to check all the vacuum lines because I found one line I believe to be missing. I put a cap on the line with no hose to see how it would react and nothing has changed. Thanks for reminding me I'd forgotten to go back and check that.
