22re Knock Sensor signal?
Anyone scoped the knock sensor signal at the ECU? Anyone know anything about it's behaviour?
Can anyone give me some advice on what det sounds like on the 22re? I am hearing a "tink" sound with what is a quite retarded ignition timing, but only under FULL throttle. 90% throttle with the same or more advanced timing does not produce the "tink" sound. I'm really unsure right now if this is a metal on metal contact I'm hearing from something or whether it is really detonation...
My ECU (Megasquirt) does not have the Knock sensor input right now, but need to figure out the signal specs to get it in and retarding.
