Hi, I am new here. The idle on my 22re is acting up. It idles at 1500-2000 when is cold, but once I run it and it warms up, it jumps to 3000-3500. I really dont know what could be causing this, also it blows cool air when it is idling high. My truck is a 91 pickup. Thanks for any help, Josh

 

check the coolant if that dont work its time for a new thermostat

 

Thanks for the response, I checked it and it was really low. I must have had a brain fart not to check that. lol, but anyways I havent driven it since I filled it, it was laid up fixing the wipers for a day. I will find out if that was the problem, thanks again!
