dunno, dont rly care. it takes me where i want to go, and it takes me there at the speed i want to get there. cant complain.something that helped me though was the k&n air filter. i like it. im not sure what milage i get, but it deff works. i just wish i had a bigger tank. stinkin 12 gallon tanks. or is it a 10? oh well. lol
There's a 17.2 and a 19.something.....sounds like you're getting bad mileage, but it's hard to tell if you don't keep track.

Was getting 14-15MPG, but just replaced ECT sensor and adjusted TPS. Now getting 17.5MPG. What a difference a $22 sensor and 30 minutes of time to replace sensor and adjust TPS will make on the pocket. I have an electric fan going in soon too!!

Wow, I am so jealous of all of you... I am getting about 9-10 mpg (for real- I've calculated many times now) city miles right now and consistently trying to do stuff to improve it.

you should be getting 19-20 worse case
crazy thing is, my 97 4Runner 3.4 auto 4x4 gets 21, my 87 4Runner 22RE 5spd gets 19.

33x10.50's 4.88's minimal lift, tons of weight, 22re, 5spd.....
I generally get 18 or 19 combined. My best was 22 on the freeway mostly, barely touching the pedal.
Worst was 14 or 15, IIRC. 4Low crawling with the AC on. hahaha

That is my log, I have not missed logging a tank in almost 2 years. I would like to see more logs, rather than people just saying "I get X mpg". It would provide us all with a more accurate expectation of fuel economy.

for most of us, a quick equation through the cell phone calculator is all we need to see. then we can forget about it and go on driving
i mean its cool that you log your gas milage and everything but you don't have to be all smug about it

That's cool! Can you give me the formulas for that?

PM me with an email. I'll send you a copy. You'll need to adjust or remove the tire adjustment depending on your tire size. Just play with it a bit. Every once in a while I think of something new to keep record of...I think I'm a bit obsessive.
