I have a 1991 Toyota 4x4 pickup with 22RE. It has a manual transmission. I had a electrical problem and it burnt the main engine harness. Toyota does not make the replacement part. Any ideas on finding one. I have googled almost everything and no luck. Any tricks of the trade to fixing these trucks would be helpful. Is there a cross-over part that will work?

 

maybe junk yards and the parting out section at this website has gotten a few things for me:dunno.

When you say Toyota doesn`t have the part did you mean just the part you melted cause last I asked the whole engine harness could be bought.


How bad is it can you repair the bad sections by soldering and heat shrinking connections

Other than that I would say used parts or someone parting out on here.

The whole harness burnt and melted. Toyota doesn't sell the whole engine harness anymore.
