22RE Check engine light code 24....??
I recently got a check engine light on my 92 22re pickup so i checked it and it came out to be code # 41 wich is the tps signal so i replaced the tps and cleaned out the intake manifold and throttle body, was running fine for two days then i the light went back on now it reads code #24 and i cant find out how to fix it, all i know is that it has to do with air temp sensor circut. So i swapped out the air flow meter with my other 89 pickup (wich is running perfect) and it still gave me the same code. so im stumped!! is there anyone out there that has ran in to the same probs.

Wrench, did you ever find out where the IAT(Intake Air Temp. Sensor) was?
Just wondering cause I have the same code, and need to find it. HAYNES manual does not show it!

Odds are, if it started just after you swapped out the tps, you have a loose wire somewhere.
I know it sounds too simple, but that's where I'd look.
The air intake sensor is somewhere around the tps, on the throttle body. If you took the throttle body off to do the TPS (which I'm assuming you did), you snipped a plug or wire somewhere in that area...too much of a coincidence.
I looked in the FSM, but couldn't find a pic of it, but it said to "reconnect air temp sensor" in the instructions for putting the throttle body back on, so it's on there somewhere.

Hey thanks, I did find it! It is in the underside of the AFM inside the Air box. Can this be replaced? I just put in a rebuilt motor, and it runs great, except for that code 24!
What to do! I have reset the computer several times. I am thinking maybe my wires in the harness are cracked or there's a short somewhere.

Bears yes its in the inside of the air flow meter. I had a bunch of codes go on mine including code 24, so i started with the TPS code 41 and started working my way down the list until i got to this code 24. ive read on a few threads that it might be the wire going to the knock sensor leaving an open / closed circuit. All the wires from the intake manifold including the temp sensor are clean with a good conection. So im going to replace the wire coming to the knock sensor to see if that takes care of the prob. let me know if you can clear that code and what you had to do cause if had this prob for 2 weeks now.
