22r Hoses

I have a 22r that i'm going to be putting propane on. For right now I'm going to run it with the Carb to see if my tranny is any good. If i take all the vacum hoses off and emissions crap off and plug the holes up will it still run or do i need all those hoses?

I guess I misread.....I don't think it would run without them. If I pull just one of them off mine it stumbles and dies. Plus it would make the brake booster not work.
