I bought it the other day there was a engine swap done but they got frustrated when they fired it and the water pump was leaking so it sat there for 6 mounts ...I bought the truck trying to trouble shoot the problems also just pulled the plugs they are fouling black ...so im guessing she is running rich???

O yes black plugs. Most likely running rich. Are the plugs wet or dry?

I'd quit running it till you get some leaks plugged up. Does your oil look okay?

Drain your radiator, pull off the water pump, replace the gaskets and get it bolted back on. Change your oil, fill up your coolant again, and see if it's still blowing white. Maybe the PO dropped a bad motor into your truck. I hope your headgasket is still in one piece.

Can always give it a seafoam treatment as well, but wait until you've plugged your leaks to start pouring chemicals into your fuel.

It's supposed to be a green high temp green o ring. Screw that. Rtv an a regular o ring works for me. If that part isn't leaking don't touch it.

O to answer your question . No. I can't think of a single way it would cause. Smoke. I've been drinking for hours so I very well could be wrong. But I don't think so
