22r alternator problem

alright so sat night after me and alex (algranger) welded my rear end i was takin it out for a test drive and the charge light kinda came on and off but then stopped so i thought no big deal.
then sunday me and him went wheelin and it did most of the day and then all my gauges went dead except for the speedo, i no turn signals or reverse lights, since this is what it did last night my alternator took a crap on me i figured thats what happened again.
so i took the alternator out and took it in to test it and it tested back positive so i put it back it and recut and did the power wire on top of it cuz that has gone bad before,
but its still not workin and i don't kno what to look at next
so any help would be greatly appreciated

Chase the wires coming off of the alternator, make sure none of those are shorting, battery connections as well.

Did you have the battery disconnected while welding on the frame?
If not, you may have damaged the regulator, gauges and maybe even ECU.

Yep. Welding on the frame without the battery disconnected does strange things to electronic and electrical parts.
