200k

Hit 200k on my new to me 92 pickup. Bought for $1200, not running. Added a AFM, water pump and a new fuel filter. Running like new one and back on the road.

Not surprising. It's almost brand new!

My '89 has 192,000 now. 22RE 5 spd. Its not driven much anymore, but I'm not worried to drive it anywhere. Did two round trips between Tacoma WA and Fresno last year, hauling a motorcycle each time. 900 miles one way. 15-16 hours. Runs all day at 70mph. I actually prefer to drive the old beater over my '08 Corolla, except for the air-con. Couple of days of 106* already this year.

Had a '72 Plymouth Valiant 318 V8 torqueflight 4 dr. Inherited it with 150,000. Sold it eight years later with 230,000. Got a picture somewhere of turning over 100,000
for second time. Still running fine. One timing chain, one valve job was all of the engine work in all those years. We used to say that 60's cars engines were good for 100,000 miles. Not really true, IF you drive 'em easy and keep 'em serviced. I expect my '08 Corolla to outlive me.

None

Yea I bought a 93 pu new in 93,. Sold it to my son at 180k, he put in every mudhole in the county. He later sold it and it's still on a localfarm and it's still going. I bought this truck from an old hunting buddy. He was never very good at taking care of his vehicles. When I seen it pop up on FB for sale I gave him a call about it. The frame is in great shape, got a couple of rust spots under the extra cab rocker panels. Probably address those this Winter. The truck hadn't been running in over s year. I also have a 14 tundra, but I actually enjoy driving this old one more. Get waves from the guys driving the new Tacoma's all the time.
