So i recently installed the driver seat out of a 2009 toyota tacoma into my 1990 ext cab pickup. AND I LOVE IT! sits up higher, more support, etc. Will be installing the passenger soon. And than ordering carpet and sound and heat deadener and once all that is done the truck interior should be done with a few minor touch ups. Anyone know or have pictures of our toyota without the headliner? Would love to take it out if it looks decent for a little more head room for taller passengers

What did you have to do to get the seats to fit? I want to put some newer seats in mine.

Due to my lack of material to make custom mounts to fit stock location I took a torch and a 5lb sludge hammer and beat the front tab down, lined one up and used stock hole towards driver aide and drilled new ones for the rest. The driver seat towards the middle on the rear tab you will have to fill about an inch to inch and a half of space so I used some large nuts which I will eventually weld together and make look pretty, I will post pictures once passenger side is in

I don't have any pics of mine when I pulled the carpet out but I didn't like it that much. I did a roll on bed liner and I still didn't like it. But if it's gonna be a trail/off-road rig then who cares
