2 row or 3 row radiator???

Time to replace the ole rad in my 90 truck with 22re 5 speed. Ive seen some debate that a 2 row rad actually cools better than a 3 row because there is more room for air to flow between the tubes. Has anyone had any experience with this. Most likely going to go with one from radiatorbarn.com. . I just don't like the plastic tanks the big stores are carrying nowadays. Or is there a plug and play rad from another year with better cooling

The 3 row is for the 3VZE & not necessary for the 22RE, IF THE COOLING SYSTEM IS FUNCTIONING PROPERLY.

If 2 rows cooled better than 3 they wouldn't waste the time and money developing a larger rad. More surface area = more cooling. If you've gotta put a radiator in the truck anyway, I'd make the step myself.
