2 questions

1. I was wondering if seafoam actually does work???...

2. and also my i noticed my throttle body is a bit grimy looking and wondering if is necessary to clean.

im kind of affraid to do some of this stuff but with 201xxx plus miles on my 4runner im wanting keep it up to shape, as it does have great power and runs nice...im just wanting to last

and anyother tips to taking care are well apreicated

Its a good idea to pull the throttle body off and clean it every once in a while, they can get very dirty on the inside and that can cause idle issues and other problems.

Seafoam is some good stuff, and it works good for removing carbon build up in an engine, ive used it with good results and would recomend it to anyone.
