1st post- Here goes...

Just to give perspective, I paid $1000 for my 1990 SR5 with 3.0 and A/T. Needed new tires, and had a mismatched rear diff (rear was 4.56, front was 4.10), and that was it. 170k on the clock.
I got a good deal, but the point of this is: if you aren't 100% sure you are going to be satisfied with it, hold off. Early 90s 4runners and trucks aren't rare, and aren't going anywhere anytime soon. There are always going to be other trucks out there to buy.
