1995 extended cab engine build.

I’ve been searching these forums for the better part of 8 years and finally need help figuring out what the previous owner did to the vacuum system on this truck and figure out why it would never idle ( besides needing major engine work)

always had a TPS range code I think it was, I noticed some side to side throttle plate play which would make the TPS reading on my meter jump out of spec, made it very hard to get it set right, and I don’t know if the dashpot not being hooked up would affect that?

can anyone tell me what these valves are called and what I’m supposed to do with them?

This can’t be right

I see the dash pot screw is missing here

If you go to your local toyota dealer, you can get like a 3d printed version of the vacuum diagrams for your make and model.

Maybe somebody here will have some pics of the one you need. Recently I had no issue getting one for my 86----from Toyota. Maybe your local is just lazy. It should be in their data base somewhere

My local dealership is the exact example of stealership. I have found some diagrams, but nothing explains what this vacuum diaphragm with the spring screw is.

did you look for the original diagram sticker on the underside of the hood; visible when the hood is open?

Is this a 3.0? If so, I have the vacuum chart since I just replaced all my lines a few months ago. It should match up to the one under the hood (if it hasn't deteriorated lol). The pictures also aren't clear, because it looks like they tried to bypass the system/TB? My guess is that's why the idle and TPS is off.

my truck doesn’t have any of those stickers under the hood, it’s a 22re. all the vacuum lines that are blocked off seem to be all for the blocked off EGR system. The only thing none of the diagrams show is that vacuum diaphragm that’s screwed into the plenum with the spring screw

everything you have pictured pertains to EGR system, with the exception of that one valve going into the plenum. It’s for ac idle up speed and power steering

it looks like the full LCE delete plate kit. No resistor in the EGR plug and no code either

Here's a vacuum piping diagram for a 1995 RN101. Might help. If not right trim and characteristics you can change those.
