anyone know where some or all VIN etchings and stickers are on the 1994 p/u? I had a buyer state that there was supposed to be stickers in a certain place and since they weren't there he thought it was salvage. I know he was 'negotiating' me, but next time I want to be able to show him exactly where they are. Thanks.

 

On my 4Runner (and my '89 pickup) there is a placard on the dash, in the driver's door jamb, and under the hood.

There was another thread about where the STAMPED Vin's are - that's how you can really verify. Not all of them were listed in that thread, but people had found a few of them. Do a search

 

On my 93 4Runner it was stamped into the outside of the frame rail, driver side, around the firewall area.

 

my buddy has a 94 pick up he has vin stamped on drivers side corner of dash looking thru windshield, on his left frame rail i think near his body mount under drivers door. use to have in drivers door jamb like most every vehicle until a motorcycle ran a red light and smashed into his door and the body shop replaced the door and part of his door jamb. I believe those three locations are the ony vin stamps

 

Your vin will also be stamped/etched into all of your factory glass....at the bottom.

 

There should also be little VIN stickers on each of the body panels, hood, doors etc that are clearly visible.
