Well as of right now I have no idea. I bought a bed online but it turned out to be a scam and I had to get the credit card company involved and am waiting for them to charge back the “vendor”. I want a stock bed but may end up having to buy a complete salvage truck just to get a repairable bed.
His name is Slacker on here, I have followed all of his builds and man he’s good, not sure how much your looking to spend but if I needed a bed or was in your spot I would save. Not sure on lead times or availability but if you have the loot give him a call.
But you may also find a bed or find a parts truck cheaper kinda depends all on your preference

Yeah that would be slick for sure but would about tap out my budget for now. I’m thinking I’ll do the body lift next, finish the interior and then go ahead and get the cab Raptor or Rhino lined and then start saving for some kind of resolution on the bed.
Replaced ujoints yesterday and am curious about something. My truck has a 1994 build date. I’ve checked 1993 and 1995 as well and they all show to have a three joint rear shaft but mine only has two. Just wondering if this was a common swap or someone just found a shaft that would fit which seems unlikely? The front and rear joints listed as #6 and #8 did fit.
Drop off for Raptor Lining tomorrow, have new door seals, new mirrors and door handles to install after. Also need some material to make some new vapor barriers for the door panels.
I'm pretty sure that the center joint is only used when the drive-shaft is "long." Your VIN will tell you the "body style," and that's matched to the correct part.
So I went with the light gray Raptor tint, overall pleased with the color could have been a shade darker but the other standard tint looked too dark to me.
Needed new vapor barriers as the old ones were pretty trashed and had a lot of overspray from a previous repaint. Had read online that the plastic bags used for shipping mattresses works well so I stopped by a local store and picked up one up.
