1993 p/u lowering question

I have a 1993 toyota p/u 2wd std cab,22re,5 speed manual. It's currently sitting on 18" wheels and I want to lower the rear more.i have a 1" inch flat block in the rear..I have a 3" block laying around but it came out of my 1990 lifted pickup an has the taper on it..can I still use the tapered block to lower the rear or will it mess up my pinion angle too bad? It not which was should I point the taper?

I think so too but I'm not sure if they taper on the block will mess with the pinion angle
