Hi All-

Been enjoying my 93' v6 auto runner for 4-5 years now but now am having a transmission problem. Started after I pulled a boat a couple of miles. It started by lurching when shifted from park to either reverse or drive. A fluid flush and change made it a lot better. Though now if I get on the accelerator, especially when cold and going uphill, it shakes and won't go unless I back off and start slowly. Also was out on a steep dirt road the other day, not yet in 4x4 mode, and it slipped out of gear. If I stopped and went from park back to drive and slowly pushed on the gas, it would go again. This happened twice. So my ? is. Possibly just the shift solenoids or most likely a wrecked tranny? Have not checked on any codes but the check engine light is not on.

The transmission codes are through the O/D Off light (so leave the O/D switch to on, so the light can flash).
