1992 pickup wiring

Hello all. I recently purchased a 1992 extra cab 4x4 3.0 with manual tranny. And I'm just beginning to try and work out the kinks. First question is about the wiring for the oil pressure sending unit. It does not operate at all. I know I have oil pressure. And I have installed a new ops. I can not find a wiring diagram for the ops. Does the wire go from ops to ecu or straight to gauge? Any help or links to help would be greatly appreicated.

The ECU doesn't care what the oil pressure is; this is strictly a gauge item.

I assume the "ops" means Oil Pressure Sensor. I also assume you got the one for the gauge, not the idiot light (if you use the latter sensor it will destroy the gauge). The wire from the sensor is Yellow-Blue, and connects through harness-harness connector ID2 (pin 15) under the passenger kick panel.

Yes I got the one for the gauge. How do I know where those pins are? The only yellow/wire is on the middle plug on one of the corners. Does that sound right?

Sorry I just realized you said harness to harness connector. Is that behind the ecu?

I'm relying on a wiring diagram; it only shows it as in the same corner as the ECU. behind/next I don't know.

Where did you get that diagram? Can you send me a link or something?
