1992 pickup transmission removal question
Hello,
I have an opportunity to buy a 1992 extended cab Toyota pickup for a pretty cheap price. It has the V6 engine and automatic transmission. The transmission has issues and needs work or replaced.
I've bought "mechanics special" vehicles in the past, and have done a bit of this sort of work, but never on a Toyota. I am wondering if anyone has removed the tranny from one of these trucks, and if it is much worse (if at all) than removing the tranny from any other truck or Jeep.
One specific question I have is whether the bolts that attach the bellhousing to the block are reasonably accessible or not.
Any thoughts and info are appreciated. Thank you!
