I have a 1992 toyota pickup with a 3vze with an auto tranny and everythings stock. Just recently when i first crank it up and put it in drive, when it tries to shift into 2nd it dies and if you back up in reverse to fast it just dies once it warms up for about 20 min it will skip into 2nd but when i try to stop it dies. all i did was remove the negative cable the other day and reset the computer and ever since its done this.
Any ideas?

Im thinking the ecu died....
