1992 22re Truck

I was degreasing my motor preparing to fix the timing chain on it a couple months ago. When I got back in the truck to move it, it wouldn't crank. It will not turn over. So I was able to get it started by pulling it and dumping the clutch it ran normal. So I checked grounds the best I could. I felt like everything was fine. So next I purchased a new starter, it is still doing the same thing. Anyone have an idea to what I've done? It was fine before I cleaned the engine bay. Now it won't turn over at all. Maybe I got something wet? It's been 2 months, I feel like it would've dried out by now.

Were you using a pressure washer ??

Look at your fuse block and battery terminals

Maybe you washed the wire off the starter solenoid .

Every thing else works ??

It just will not crank ??

No pressure washer, I used a water hose. I tried my best to wrap everything electrical with a bag. Everything else works, it just won't turn over. Radio comes on, lights. I checked the fuse box terminals and the battery terminals. It won't start if I try to jump it off either.

Check the relay for your clutch safety switch. I had a similar in counter recently.
