1992 22re swap to 1984 22r?

Hey, i am trying to find an engine, and one finally popped up. The guy thinks its an 84' engine, its a 22r. would this swap be ok? will the 22r fit in ok? or will i have any trouble?
just wondering if this is even a good switch and if it's possible.
thanks.

i believe that the only difference is the carb vs the efi. you can probably make the 22r a 22re with your efi system too. thats my understanding of the 2 engines. i may be wrong though. not sure what electrical crap would be affected if any though.

i heard there was complications with pre 85 22r blocks. they are taller and dont have the taps for certain sensors. someone here will know the specifics
