My plastic cooling fan exploded and it cut some hoses and made a hole in my radiator. I replaced all that and now it has some weird symptoms.

* Idles at 1500
* Wont run for very long after it has warmed up
* When it dies it wont start for about 10 minutes. (cranks but doesnt fire)
* temp gauge in the normal zone.

it did break a box near the intake that you can view at the url at the bottom. I thought it was just related to the heater but i'm not really sure what it is. Is this causing it?

You'll have to repair that box or it won't run right.
It's part of the intake system.
There may be an article on eliminating it.

 

I dont even know what it's called to buy a new one though. anyone know?

 

I think it's called a resonator.
