4x4 won't engage I belive this is why
The transfer case switch has one wire broken off out of the two there. This is my problem because it sends signal to the vacuum actuators, correct?
The only replacement parts I found have no pigtail wires comming off from switch just strait plug to switch.

I have manual hubs

Depends on which transfer case you have (see the sticker on the door pillar). It depends on whether you have ADD with manual hubs added later, or a straight front differential. It depends on whether you have a manual or automatic. It depends on from where the wires are broken -- you may know since you're talking about replacement parts.

But if the wire is broken from the transfer indicator switch and you have ADD, yes, that would prevent the ADD from engaging.

Yes 5 speed, stock add with aftermarket manual hubs

I'd say do the hose clamp mod unless you want to keep the ADD functional for some reason.

I need this switch for the dash lights to tell me I'm in 4hi an low as well as sending the signal to the vacuum actuator. ( not because I can't tell but I prefer everything to work as it should). I didn't want to do the hose clamp thing because I don't want to cut a new gasket out to fit the seal or replace the gear oil that I just replaced. After I get the money ill be cutting off the ifs to switch to solid.
