More progress
I got the cab on yesturday with my dad. Sorry no pics, putting a cab with only 2 ppl is a chore, no time for pics. We did use the cherry picker, i used the same pick point as before, but i extended the chain to the inner front driver side seat mount. Then i could adjust the picker along that chain. Worked well, got it to balance pretty good.
Buddy came over today and got the bed on. That was cake. Got all the under hood stuff hooked up. Had to make a special clutch hose, b/c v6 and 22re are different. Other than that, it was a good 2 days, alot of progess.
Here she sits now.
Got my grey dash in. Looks lame. Gonna dye the interior black with sems. That will be later on though.

Since the new cab was an sr5 w/ rear antilocks. i now have the light on. Gonna have to pull the bulb i guess, any suggestions on that?

For all you red interior HATERS
Got some Landau Black SEM color coat (p/n 15013), and got busy. Stuff is good. I dyed the grey interior stuff, b/c the black would cover it easier. The only red piece i did was the one under the steering column, since mine didnt have the vent. Not sure what im going to do with the steering wheel and column cover yet; or even the door panels. Once i get everything installed, then ill look into the other stuff.
Took apart the passenger side vent.
Before
After
Only red piece i did. Covered nicely, took alittle more dye.
I guess Toyota dyes their stuff too
Pretty much, i scrubbed the parts with dawn and water, then wiped them down with prep wipes (alcohol). i did use a heat gun to warm the parts up, layed a coat, then followed that with some more heat; kind of "baking" it on.
Hopefully tommorrow i will get it back together.

HOLY SHEEP S^%@!!
That looks better than factory!!
I have been trying to figure out how to do my interior vinyl plastic crap forever!
Great build!
So the SEM rattle can mentioned above is what you used on all the plastic with that baked on technique??? You said you dyed it. Did you spray it on or brush it on?
thanks!!
