Ok so im doing the bj spacer/lc coil thread and heres a list of everything i have and i need to know what the deal is wiht the brake lines and what to order and all of that. LEt me know if there is anything else i should order to accomadate the lift.

1.5 inch bjspacers from 4crawler
Pan hard rod drop bracket from 4crawler
Differential drop from 4crawler
LC Coils
4inch lifted pro comp Shocks for the rear

 

You are going to get about 2" of lift over stock, not 4".

No need to extend any brake lines.

Don't forget the extended rear brake line from marlincrawler.

 

What are you doing for front shocks? It helps to get some just a bit longer than stock, I really liked my OME shocks with the spacers. As far as the brake lines, in the front you definitely won't need extended, the rear I didn't need them, but I have OME springs and OME shocks, so they may lift less and limit downtravel more. I personally hate bleeding brakes, so if I'm going to open up the system, I try to do as many things as I will be doing at once, even if it's early. On my '83, I'd planned to do more suspensions stuff, so when I did the big brake upgrade because all the brakes needed to be replaced, I installed extended brake lines all around then. Never got around to major suspension work, but the guy who bought it from me noticed them and was glad he wouldn't have to do brake stuff when he lifted it.

 

SO i do or dont need the brake lines? and yeah im probably going with skyjacker just because they are the cheapest

 

Wab Fab dont you sell shocks? Cut me a deal on some ones to go with the bj spacers

 

You should be fine with stock brake lines. Unless you get some abnormal, extreme flex.
