1990 4x4 clutch problem

Was out for a tear today and all of a sudden I wasn't able to shift into any gears using the clutch. I'm not sure if it was ever replaced and I have only put a few thousand Kms on it since I bought it a year ago but there didn't seem to be any signs of wear until today... 261,000km. Doesn't seem to be any leaks and the reservoir is full just wondering if anyone has had the same issue and found any tricks before I start pulling the hydraulics apart? Thanks in advance
