Hi guys just wondering about putting power steering on a 1989 toyota hilux my main concerns are listed below

How much would it cost??
Is it hard to do??
Would it cause problems??
Would it go better 4x4ing??
Is it even possible to do??
Would it pass road worthy??


If someone could help me with these questions that would be great because I am really thinking about it



ALSO I AM TALKING ABOUT IN AUSTRALIA WITH THE ROAD WORTHY

 

1) Cost: depends on where you find the parts...can you do it yourself?
2) not that hard in my opinion
3) shouldn't cause any problems, should be an improvement

5) possible-yes
6) if you do it right it should pass. No Aussie Toyota forums that would be in a better position to cover OZ Law?
