1988 4runner 3.0 Downey headers going on. what to look out for?

Hi all-

Picking up my 4runner from the exhaust shop today after work.
Almost 2 years ago my catalytic converter was cut off while I was at work. I band aided the missing piece with some other exhaust tubing to hold me over until I redid the whole exhaust. Which was yesterday. Had the shop instal never used ceramic Downey headers, catalytic converter, muffler and 2.25 tubing.
After doing some reading I see that I should wrap the starter and surrounding lines. Yeah? Or is having the CERAMIC headers going to run cool enough to not worry about the heat issue?
Thanks for the input in advance.
Jason

From reading through this article it sounds like bending/pushing lines away from the headers is adequate...

we bent the brake lines a bit away from the headers and put shielding on the starter and mostly wrapped the crap out of stuff.

word of warning though----->>>> https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...l-line-258107/

Here's a picture from my iPhone. Hope it uploads ok. What do think?heat wrap? Reason why I'm asking is the 4x4wire install article doesn't say anything about heat shielding with the Downey headers. Seems like there's sufficient clearance.

I would.

think of it this way: Make and argument AGAINST wrapping it. the stuff has a heat rating...RADIANT and DIRECT.

I did not take any AFTER pics, because I didn't want any naysayers criticizing. But, I have all of it covered well and then header "tape", (which is not tape at all)...wadded around.

so, anyways...wrap it. what will it hurt? you look like you have plenty of room,even though I don't see the fuel line there.
