1988 22re cold air intake

im having a problem hooking up my mass air flow sensor into my cold air intake. the sensor is a big ass piece of metal bolted to the lid of the intake box/filter. the input side of the sensor is a square hole, and i need some type of adapter to place a round fitting on the input side so i can hook my cone filter to it. does anyone have an idea to what i can do? i can post pictures if anyone needs to see what im talking about.

Pics please, and if i were you i'd keep the stock airbox. I know you already have it, its not drawing cold air, is all i am saying.

Welcome to Yotatech!!

Yeah, true that, your best bet is to keep the airbox. However, you're gonna need an adaptor plate that bolts to the AFM. Meaning the ENTIRE airbox has to come off. There's a butt load of post/thread/pics on here. Refer to my "ultimate toyota resource" link in my signature. Thank you come again...
