1986 Toyota SR5 extra cab

I recently picked up a 1986 SR5 extra cab, I originally wanted to keep the extra cab shelf in the truck. However, I recently had the thought of taking out the shelf and somehow putting in a small bench seat just for the times that I will have a 3 maybe 4th person tagging along.

I know it will be a tight spot for them but it should do the trick.

Any advice on if this is a good idea?

and last question is should I buy seats or make my own thinking it may be cheaper and easier to fit in.

All help is very much appreciated

They must be toddlers.

However if you don't need the bench, do have any pics? Depending on the condition I'd like to buy it off you.

First does your state have any seat belt laws?? If so you need to also have seat belts.

First I have no idea where you could get any seat to fit unless your installing approved child seats .

Then it would be a royal pain getting kids in and out.

If you want to tote 4 people around get a 2nd generation 4Runner.

There is not room enough back there for my dog.

What do i know I think getting married is a bad idea but people keep doing it.
