1986 Toyota Pickup--where to buy a fuel filler neck hose?
Hello all,
I just replaced all the rubber lines in my fuel system due to a strong gasoline smell. A couple of hoses were definitely shot, so this cured the problem. While at it, I would like to replace what is likely the original filler neck hose (large hose and a small - maybe venting - hose) as they both are on borrowed time!
I cannot find them at any parts place, Toyota dealer, ebay, etc....
Any ideas where to get them or has someone found a substitute hose that fits from another vehicle?
Thanks,
Julian

I recently replaced every fuel related hose on my 92 except for the filler hose. Could not find that anywhere, only 2WD is available and I didn't try to see if that fit. Not sure if the 86 is similar to a 92, but on a 92, the diameter is different at each end so a universal one won't fit perfectly. This is what I used for the venting hose, it was a very tight fit: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thanks Paul---will consider that as an option. There is no more fuel smell whatsoever now (before, you could smell it walking up to it!). But, I know that neck hose is on borrowed time and, like you, I want to complete the replacement of all rubber fuel lines/hoses.
Thanks again,
Julian
