My son is on the road and having what sounds like a plugged fuel filter problem. My problem is that I don't know where it's located without being able to see it. It's an 86 shortbed carb'd pickup. Any help would be much appreciated

 

On my '85 22rec it is on the passenger front corner, it is on the side of the engine, you can see it through the wheel well. I would assume it is the same on the '86 22re.

86 Carb fuel filter is next to gas tank on top of frame rail over spring mount.
