ok i have a 1986 4runner and for some reason the starter is acting up and dont know why. it acts like its engaging cuz we hear it turning but it aint turning the flywheel at all. we took it to advance auto and they tested it and said it ws good and to check the teeth on the flywheel which we done did and they are good. i was wondering if yall might have any suggestion about it. only thing we can figure is that the starter motor is engaging and turning but it aint turning the teeth under pressure.
