I was wondering what different years of beds would fit on 1985 trx cab short bed toyota. Thank you

 

84-88 4wd beds are a direct replacement (USA vrs Japan beds need fuel filler mods)
84-88 2wd beds will fit , but some minor mods are necessary

79-83 2 or 4WD short beds will also fit , but mods are necessary these beds are ~1.5" smaller in width and body lines don't match
89-95 short beds will also fit , but mods are necessary these beds are ~ 2" larger in width and body lines don't match
