$16 tail gate anti-rattlers
I spent $16 last week because I was tired of driving around with what sounded like a bed full of scrap metal. I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. These dinkey little clips (at $4 a pop from the dealer) can help you rekindle the relationship with your old Toy pickup. Those clips keep the gate straps from banging around, for those on here who didn't know.

My gate rattles and I knew about the clips just never made it to the dealer to pick some up yet.
Besides the rattle of the straps my gate does not shut tightly and it makes a lot of noise going down my pothole riden dirt road.
Is there a way to adjust how tightly the gate shuts?
Thanks

you could probably loosen the bolts that attach the striker plates on the box sides and puch them forward a little there might be a little room for adjustment there but i don't know for sure.
