alright so im really curious to everyones 0 to 60 times, mostly in pickups. i want to see where my truck lands on the "speed" for yotas. i have a 94, sased, 5.29s on 35s, 5 spd, 22re, 170k miles and i got 14 sec, think i could squeeze 12 out of it though

My truck hasnt seen 60 in a few years I think, lol. Lately in about 20 seconds if I am trying really hard. That should be shortened in a week though.

Well a little update for my truck. I blew a head gasket and timing chain was about eaten though the cover. So I got a new timing chain, cover, head gasket, decked head, rv cam, and I put in a k&n factory replacement air filter, it's about 10 sec 0-60 now. FYI k&n filter did about the same as the cam did for power.

Eventually? Lol seriously though, my old '90 would do a quarter mile in 18.8, at 70ish. That truck was a 3.0 5speed 4.10 with 31's at 5280 ft.

Depends, do times on the trailer behind a truck with horse power actually registering in the triple digits count?

1990 4runner with 270k, stock V6 gears, 5-speed and 33x12.5's, I can do about 6.5-7 seconds 0-60.....

But I swapped in a 1jz, does that still count?

yes, it counts. Now I wanna play too. All I know is I shift from second at 90-95 kmph if I'm having fun. Apparently redline is a bit above that so I should be able to hit 60mph in second gear. I'll find out tomorrow if I remember my camera and I can tune my fuel map to decent levels! Your right infinity, boost IS cool!

pfft, 1j. you and your 2.5L, short stroke engine They only make power above 5 grand! (just buggin)

I had to wait for a car to pass then turned onto the highway, stopped once pointed straight, bumped the engine twice, then gave er' hell. From when the speedo start moving I mentally count about 7 seconds. I would like to drop the clutch from 4k rpm but I don't want to break stuff so this will have to do. my rpm are shown on the bottom line of the SAFC. Turns out I CAN hit 100kmph in second gear!

clicking the pic will take you to my photobucket page and watch it there.
