Look on your driver side fender well, you'll see efi test connector, run a jumper wire in it... That should fix your starting issues. For a detailed explanation, look on 4crawler.com under his 4runner section. I'm on my iPod, so it's hard to link the pic.

Wow your kinda all over the place askin questions...

I personally recommend the knuckle rebuild kit from TG...but get the marlin inner seals for like $12...itll save you from rebuilding them again later. (from experience)

But for the front springs....theres a bunch of options.

reason i ask about the TG springs is ive heard some bad things about them. i dont recall hearing anyone complain about the marlin springs. but plans seem to be changin for the worst now. i was gonna throw my income taxes at it, but i reckon me and my GF is gonna try to get us an apartment or sumn, so i need to save some money. now the plans are regear my 95, put a clutch in it, and get a flatbed for teh 85. and maybe throw a couple spools in the 85 idk

check your injectors primarliy your cold start injector its on the top right side of the upper plenum, i bought a beautiful 85 4 runner the guy thought the motor blew up on for 200 bucks and turns out the injectors were all trash and loading the thing up on fuel and the computer couldnt compensite enough air flow and eventually quit running got those fixed then it started, starting rough and i looked at the cold start injector and it was also trashed since then its ran like a top

FLAME MEEEE
Well i went to pu tmy fuel filter on, then i started lookin at the EFI test connecter that was mentioned. found it , then seen one of teh plugs was unplugged from the inner fender. plugged it up, viola. but it still hesitates kinda if im on it hard mostly in 4th. im gonna change to filte rand see if that helps. slo, since this thing was unplugged, coudl thsi have caused anyharm to anything, the one that was unplugged is the bigger one circled in green(borrowed pic from 4crawler.)http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/CheapTri.../FuelPump1.jpg

EDIT-nvm. it msut have jsut been a kawinky dink. cuz i just realized that plug has nothin to do with it. so im back to square one. i tried the test connecter. no luck there neither
