All depends on the demand in your area. In the desert old Toy trucks aren't that hard to find so the price would probably be closer to 3k. If your truck is exceptional as far as rust goes for your area then ask the 4500 and see what offers come in. I like your truck - hope you do well with the sale.

I would say $3500-$4500, it all depends on what the market is in your area, like stated before, if you've got a rust free truck in an otherwise rusty area it can be worth more than if you are in arizona or whatever

It looks like you have a clean truck, but unless your camera is messed up, that pic was taken in '02,

if the truck looks exactly the same, I would do three things right off the bat: get the stupid little bumper corner things put back on (they have them on eBay), and either remove the "V6" emblem from the grill, or get the proper grill on there (again, eBay), and I would paint the spots on the bed that are black or whatever

those are just little things that people like us wouldn't care about, but those who don't know trucks are going to see and move on

There weren't any V6 trucks in 85.

yes the truck had a black grill-bumper and cornerlamps. All the chrome came from my 88 4 runner.
I will be getting the bumper ends this week.
The black spots were black primer over rust. I have grinded the rust out and fiberglassed the spots so now it has grey primer squares by the right rear fender.
yes my camera is junk the pics were thaken about 2 months ago.
I haven't had the truck but 6 months

That truck is in really nice shape. I've never seen a truck of that vintage in that good a shape. Wow. That would definately sell for $4500 around where I'm from. Would be a great truck for a motor swap. I wish I could have boughten something like that when I was shopping for a truck to put a diesel in. I would have bought it. You should look into selling it in the northern states or Canada. We don't stuff like that with no rust around here. Even a rusted out yota pickup goes for $3500 where I'm from. And with the solid axle very nice. Sell it up north.

cool, that's what I figured, I would still paint the spots, even if it's just spray paint, you could get it pretty close,

like I said before, little things like this might not bother us, but the majority of people it will bother

your truck could be put up here at $4500 and sell up here for $4000 easy, the '85 extra-cabs are kind of rare in good shape, the only thing that yours is missing is the 22-RE

Please don't send it up north. It will be rusted out in no time. Send it to me . Honestly - I want to sell my TDi Jetta soon so maybe we can work something out.

I spent 8 weeks in southern arkansas and if it weren't for the other 9 canadians that i was with, it would have been impossible for me to return home without a southern drawl. nice people though.

I haven't shined mine up in a long time but I used to use a gel made by Maguiar's . It would last quite a while and not too shiny.

Just to give you an idea what is out there. Troll around ebay and pirate and you'll see the prices vary wildly but it seems like you are trying to not get greedy with yours.

I forgot - is your truck EFI or carb. I looked the post over again and didn't see that. That could help quite a bit with the value.
